The BBRC’s WIP (Work in Progress) file has been updated – with submissions received up to 2 April 2023. This file lists records that are either ‘in circulation’, with decisions since the last report was published or that may have been overlooked in recent months. The next annual rarities report will feature in the October 2023 issue of British Birds. Thank you to all birders and county recorders who have been providing submissions in recent months, and for your patience whilst we have begun to catch up with a significant backlog of records.
