BBRC Appoints New Vice Chair

Published on 05 April 2014

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Stoddart to the role of Vice Chair.  This position was confirmed at the recent BBRC AGM, held in March 2014.  Andy will principally assist the committee by preparing articles relating to the committee’s work, progressing work on RIACT taxa and assisting with research on difficult records.  All committee members are volunteers, who undertake their duties in their spare time, and Andy’s appointment will expand our ability to communicate the work that BBRC do.  Andy previously served on BBRC as a voting member during 1993 – 2001 and is currently editor of the Norfolk Bird Report.  He has a keen interest in identification and has published many papers in British Birds and Birdwatch magazine, as well as writing several books, including The Birds of Blakeney Point.  It is great to have him back on the BBRC.
